LA SLO NOLA
That’s Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo and New Orleans! What an exhausting trip and oh so much sister fun. I highly recommend San Luis Obispo for a lovely holiday sandwiched between the ocean and vineyards in beautiful rolling central coastal hills in California. New Orleans is quite an experience. Never ever go during Mardi Gras. We were there at a “normal” time of year and it is still a strange and curiously entertaining place. Oh yes, and Bourbon Street smells … Continue reading

roommate switch up
Sad to say that Diane is leaving 101. The good news is she will only be upstairs in 204A. I will miss her in the studio but it does mean that Adele and I can spread out our mess! Good luck upstairs Diane. Don’t forget our tea parties!

Obsessing over Tutus
I’ve emptied my living room, laid out plastic tarps and the room is now filled with tutus – painted of course. My latest obsession. Yes, I am an A.D.D painter. Too many ideas, not enough personalities. Guess I should have taken those dance lessons. Piano didn’t work out but I think I would have loved wearing a tutu. Don’t quote me but I may stick with this for a while. Hope you like them. I’ll be posting photos soon!

Oil Painting News
Well, I recently finished a week long intensive oil painting studio with Chris Flodberg so guess what? Back to the studio now that I’ve survived Stampede and Menage and it’s oil painting for me! I can’t wait to put the incredible and why didn’t they teach me this in art school? techniques to practice. I’ll be posting my new work as soon as it is painted. Guess that means I’d better stop blogging and get to the studio. I have … Continue reading

Menage rocked!
Thanks everyone who attended my Menage de la Garage Part Deux. I had a ball and I’m fairly certain lots of others enjoyed perusing my treasures and making them their own! I have a few items left but for the most part I was cleaned out…..which is a good thing. And my amazing and talented sister Marilyn came to help me stage the whole event. I’m so happy she was here for me. I think this retail thing is in … Continue reading
